The Town of Red Springs, located in Robeson County, North Carolina (population 3,118) is currently seeking energetic, results-oriented, forward-thinking candidates for the position of Town Manager. Red Springs is a forward-looking town with small town values and a great quality of life. The Town Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Town with 75 full-time and part-time employees and an operating budget of approximately $4.4 million.
The Town Manager must actively engage with the community and its businesses. Candidates must have the ability to relate well to the community and have the ability to partner with an engaged council to carry out the strategic priorities of the community. The position requires graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in public administration, business management, civil engineering, or related field and considerable supervisory experience at a management level or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer experience in a municipal environment and a graduate degree in public administration or a related field. The Town operates under a Council-Manager form of government.
