RFP Digital Champion Grant Hot Spot Addendum #1

RFP Information

The request for proposals is hereby amended to provide the following clarifications:

1)      The vendor will need to supply technology options regarding 4G/5G capability

2)      The vendor will need to supply demographics that their product best suits.

3)      The vendor will need to supply what analysis is needed after installation of equipment.

Questions:

Q1: Does LRCG have existing hotspots, and if so, what type?

A1: We do have hotspots for our personal council of governments use. We are looking for hotspots to place in the community to enhance computer and internet access to our communities as the state has deemed this is cause of concern in rural areas. 

Q2: Do they utilize 4G / 5G technology?

A2: We will be looking for 4G/5G hotspots, yes. 

Q3: Who are the patrons who will be using the hotspots? (ie. children, adults, students through higher ed.)

A3: All ages and demographics. Some of the specifications will be tailored towards senior citizens. 

Q4:. Does LRCG have existing laptops and want hotspots? 

A4:  We are currently in search of both laptops and hot spots to place in the community as funded by the state.

Q5: What percentage of Minority/ WOB are preferred

A5: (Unsure if applicable)

Q6: What are the content filtering requirements?

A6: Antivirus software will be required on all laptops

Q7: What kind of data analysis is needed to manage the hotspots

A7: So far the analysis will be conducted after placement of equipment. We are requesting unlimited data from companies placing bids on equipment purchases.
